Mobile Therapist- Behavioral Consultant

Job Overview: 

Join our Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) team as a Behavioral Consultant and/or Mobile Therapist, making a meaningful impact by supporting children, youth, and young adults under 21 with mental, emotional, or behavioral health needs. Your role will involve providing vital assistance in diverse settings, including homes, schools, and the community.

Schedule:

Contractor Positions: Starting at $45/hr. | Flexible Schedule: Day and Evening hours available to meet the needs of the consumer.

Flexible Employment Options: Full time offering $50,000 per year. Open to discussing potential Part-Time roles.

Responsibilities: 

  • Design & Supervision: Develop and oversee behavior management/treatment plans for children in IBHS services.
  • Collaborative Meetings: Attend and contribute to clinical planning meetings, and other mandatory meetings offering expertise and guidance as required.
  • Coordination & Facilitation: Lead inter-agency team meetings, create treatment plans, and make relevant referrals to additional support services.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed progress notes and documentation weekly. Complete Functional Behavioral Assessments as needed for IBHS treatment authorization.
  • Communication & Updates: Update the IBHS Coordinator, discussing case updates, high-risk clients’ weekly and monthly meetings with the Clinical Supervisor.
  • Training Support: Provide behavioral modification techniques to the Behavioral Health Technician and/or Mobile Therapist for implementation with clients.

Position Qualifications and Skills: 

  1. Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a behavior specialist.
  2. Have obtained an MA or MS in psychology, social work, education, or counseling with 1 year of Full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth, or young adults.
  3. Have obtained an MS or MA, in psychology, social work, education, counseling, and completed a clinical or mental health direct service practicum.
  4. Certification as a BCBA or graduate degree in Behavior Analysis.

Clearances: 

In accordance with state regulations, all prospective new employees/contractors must provide originals for photocopy of their Federal Criminal History Record (DHS FBI Background Check), PA Criminal Background Check, and PA Child Abuse Clearance before commencing the offered position. This position requires clearance to be within 1 year of start date.
