Job Overview:

The Billing Clerk is responsible for the daily functions of billing for various departments within the agency.

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

  • General clerical duties
  • Data entry
  • Customer service
  • Verification of member eligibility
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel
  • Filing/Scanning
  • Must meet monthly billing deadlines
  • Track and document task completion
  • Billing – Manual Print, EHR, EMR, resubmittals, and corrections when needed.
  • Process secondary insurance.
  • Credentialing

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma
  • Strong computer skills
  • Detailed-oriented with a focus on customer service.
  • Knowledge of billing processes is (strongly encouraged) but not required.
  • Familiarity with Credentialing, Magellan, Medicare, Availity, Promise, strongly encouraged to apply!
