Outpatient Coordinator

Serving the community for 75 years, Central Behavioral Health is a non-profit community behavioral health center that continues to help people of all ages. We provide programs that cover a full spectrum of behavioral health services both in the community and in the office. Through evidence-based treatments and person-centered care, we help individuals and families work through life transitions, crisis situations, mental health and co-occurring concerns. In the Outpatient Coordinator role, you will have the opportunity to provide administrative support to consumers, fellow team members, and referral sources through the coordination and administration of the front office activities. 

This is a Monday through Friday 9 am to 5 pm-  37.5 hour per week position.

Job Duties:

  • Scheduling and confirming consumer appointments.
  • Managing prior authorizations.
  • Imputing client data into the EHR system.
  • Outreach to consumers for missed appointments.
  • Monitoring and coordinating all medication requests.
  • Assist with other Departmental duties.

Position Qualifications:

  1. An Outpatient Coordinator shall have:
  2. High School Diploma
  3. Good Customer Service and phone skills.
  4. Ability to manage crisis and problem solve
  5. Computer exposure to EHR systems helpful.
