Qualifications: Education:

? A Bachelors or Master’s Degree from an accredited program in an area of human services, sociology, political science, criminal justice, pastoral counseling, education, or other related fields.

? For Master’s prepared individuals – Proof of Practicum with an official transcript.
Experience:

? Have at least 2 years’ experience in the healthcare industry.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Position Summary: As a member of the Outpatient Services Department, the duties include engaging consumers receiving clinical services solely by a psychiatrist. This position will complete all required documentation for ongoing treatment including: treatment plans, crisis plans, and releases. The goal of the Engagement Counselor is to provide brief therapeutic interventions at least twice annually to ensure behavioral health needs are being met and make appropriate referrals to other services as needed. Conduct ASAM and clinical assessments when needed.
