Job Overview:
The Director of Children’s Services is responsible for the oversight of the, Family-Based Services, SAP, and Methacton School District programs.
Schedule:
- Full-time in office position, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

Responsibilities:
- Promote consumer satisfaction, successful outcomes, and program growth through new referral development to build program capacity.
- Ensure compliance with treatment needs, billing, and all regulatory requirements.
- Liaison with other Child Servicing Agencies and local School Districts.
- Help staff to be effective and efficient by managing productivity and monitoring the quality of the services provided to remain within budgetary guidelines.
- Interview, select, develop and retain positions within your departments. Assist in orientation, training, and education of new and existing staff, including orientation to our policies and EHR.
- In collaboration with leadership establishes and oversees operational policies and procedures and implements effective tools to improve efficiency and control costs.
- Assess referrals that cannot be seen by staff rapidly, managing a triage process to avoid waitlist, allocate resources accordingly. Ensure Rapid access to care.
- Establish and foster relationships with referral sources and community agencies.
- Continuous quality improvement through the development of procedures, training materials, participation in trainings, and utilizing best practices. Maintain awareness of key literature in developing evidence-based treatments.
- Coordination of care with internal and external entities to improve consumer care.
- Staff morale (Improve staff morale to provide quality experience, reduce turnover rate, and provide a positive work environment).
- Ensure administrative and clinical supervision of all staff within the programs.
- Backup to other Departmental, Special projects, or agency functions as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
1: A Master’s Degree in a related field.
Experience:
1: Minimum 5 years experience in Human Services which includes supervision of others, direct service, and program planning.
2: Experience working in IBHS and FBS.
3: Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
Other:
- Subject to the requirements of the Child Protective Services Law.
