Central Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced psychiatrist to lead our clinical team. 📝 Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to medical staff, including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals.
- Assist in the development of clinical policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Oversee the management of consumer care, including initial evaluations, ongoing treatment, and crisis intervention.
- Foster relationships with community partners and stakeholders to enhance service delivery and community outreach.
- Stay current with advancements in behavioral health care and integrate new knowledge into clinical practice. Provide clinical consultation as needed.
- Provide medication management, psychiatric evaluations and emergency interventions as needed.
- Participate in regularly scheduled administrative meetings.
🎓 Qualifications
Education
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Successful completion of an accredited psychiatry residency program.
Licenses and Certifications
- Board certification in Psychiatry.
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Valid DEA Registration.
Experience and Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a behavioral health setting, leadership experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of behavioral health services and the needs of diverse populations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and community partners.
- Comfortable with digital tools and basic technology use (phones, computers).
- Experience working in an EHR system.
- Commitment to holistic and compassionate care.
