Transition to Independence Process (TIP) program

Central Behavioral Health » Children, Adolescents and Families » Transition to Independence Process (TIP) program

Life is a journey, but you don’t have to do it alone.

If you are between the ages of 16 and 26, experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges and finding yourself overwhelmed thinking about your future, our TIP program can help you navigate your path to independence.

Central’s TIP program is an empirically supported model developed to work with individuals to address common hurdles encountered by young adults. TIP facilitators assist individuals in reaching their vision of a successful future by using a strength-based approach that focuses on achievements and problem-solving.

Participating in TIP can help you learn skills and strategies needed to become self-sufficient and successful as you explore:

  • Educational opportunities
  • Living situation options
  • Employment and career options
  • Life in your community
  • Personal effectiveness and well-being
