We are currently hiring the following positions.
TIP Case Manager
The TIP Facilitator is responsible for following the evidence supported TIP Model and the Pennsylvania Blended Case Management Regulations, to support individuals experiencing emotional and/or behavioral difficulties, to achieve their independence goals. The TIP Facilitator works to engage the young person (between the ages of 16 – 26) through relationship development, person-centered planning, and a focus on their future. The TIP Facilitator teaches skills to help youth become more self-sufficient, connect youth to their community, build a safety net of support, advocate for youth voice and choice, and improve positive outcomes.
Registered Nurse
Central Behavioral Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Food as Medicine (FAM) Program, a partnership between Central and the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS). This program integrates nutritional education, access to healthy food, and gardening opportunities to reduce health disparities for adults with serious mental illness (SMI). The RN will work closely with a Registered Dietitian, Farm Educators from PHS, and Central’s Integrated Care Team to support clients in improving their physical health and well-being.
During the non-growing season, the RN will continue to provide vital health support by participating in client support within the Clinical Wellness Program (CWRT) and other areas of the integrated wellness team. This program focuses on helping individuals with SMI and ongoing health issues access medical care, achieve wellness goals, and improve their overall quality of life.
Case Manager
A case manager provides flexible, community-based services that are designed to promote the empowerment, recovery, and community integration of adults and/or children with behavioral health challenges and their families. Using a person-centered approach, the case manager helps the individuals and families navigate across systems, gain access to behavioral health services, and coordinate with community and natural supports as identified in their goal plan.
Outpatient Therapist
Opportunities to provide individual, family and group therapy in an outpatient setting. As a therapist you will be responsible for providing mental health assessment, treatment planning, and counseling intervention services, as well as continually monitoring and documenting consumer progress and outcomes.
Medical Director
Central Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced psychiatrist to lead our clinical team. The Medical Director will oversee all medical services within the organization, ensuring the highest standard of care for our diverse client population. This position plays a critical role in shaping and implementing clinical strategies, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in care.
Family Based- Mental Health Worker
A Family Based Mental Health Worker collaborates within a two-person team, delivering in-home therapy and support services to children and adolescents facing emotional and behavioral challenges. The team engages with both the child and their family, aiming to foster a stable home environment, enhance caregivers’ skills, and promote emotional and behavioral well-being in the child
Certified Peer Specialist
The Certified Peer Specialist works as part of the Peer Support Team, which provides recovery-oriented services for adults (18 years and older) with serious mental health or co-occurring challenges.
