About the HOPE Program

The HOPE Program offers a compassionate, holistic approach to recovery for individuals living with opioid use disorder (OUD) or co-occurring conditions. In partnership with MODIA®, a digital Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) tool, participants receive support both inside and outside the clinic to help them build resilience, reduce cravings, and strengthen recovery skills. MODIA® complements ongoing clinical treatment by reinforcing coping strategies and behavioral skills between sessions, creating a seamless bridge between digital and in-person therapeutic support.

How the Program Works

Participants enrolled in clinical treatment at Central Behavioral Health are paired with a MODIA® Coordinator who provides weekly check-ins and monitors progress through the program’s interactive modules. MODIA® is designed to supplement traditional therapy and enhance the therapeutic process by offering skill-building exercises, real-life scenarios, and personalized prompts that reinforce what clients discuss with their clinicians.

Clients complete 24 interactive modules covering topics such as recognizing triggers and cravings, developing coping strategies, improving decision-making, managing emotions and relationships, and strengthening self-identity. MODIA® can be accessed at any time through a computer, tablet, or smartphone, and participants maintain access for 180 days.

MODIA®: A Digital Therapeutic for Recovery Support

MODIA® is a conversation-style digital therapeutic designed to be user-friendly and accessible for individuals at any stage of recovery. The program incorporates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Its personalized structure adjusts to client responses, creating a supportive and engaging digital environment.

The tool emphasizes skill-building to help users manage cravings, withdrawal symptoms, emotional triggers, and challenges such as anxiety or depression. Relapse-prevention tools guide participants in developing individualized plans that identify risks and coping strategies. MODIA® also reinforces concepts discussed in therapy, strengthening the overall recovery process.

Participants benefit from motivational messaging, receiving short supportive texts that help integrate therapeutic skills into daily life. MODIA® is available around the clock on any internet-connected device, ensuring continuous access to support. All interactions are private and confidential.
