The Intake Coordinator conducts both telephonic and in-person intake screenings, which serve as the foundation for subsequent treatment at Central.

📝 Responsibilities
- Handle Intake calls and triage Crisis Calls.
- Schedule appointments, arrange hospitalizations, and initiate cases in the EHR system.
- Offer information and referrals for services both within Central and across the community.
- Ensure smooth operation of Same Day Access by providing necessary support and guidance.
- Perform screenings for individuals seeking drug and alcohol treatment at Central.
🎓 Qualifications
Education
- A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related fields.
- Consideration given to candidates with a High School Diploma and a minimum of 1 year of experience in a front office setting.
Experience & Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with a nonjudgmental, client-centered approach
- Comfortable with digital tools and basic technology use (tablets, phones, computers etc.)
- Computer exposure to EHR systems helpful.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective problem-solving skills

- Subject to the requirements of the Child Protective Services Law.
