🧠 About the Support Staff Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Outpatient Support Staff to join our team. This dynamic role will have the opportunity to provide customer service to consumers, guests of the agency, and staff. The support staff position performs various front-office functions, provides administrative support in various aspects of behavioral healthcare management.

📝 Responsibilities
- Answering and responding to phone inquiries, Teams messages, and emails.
- Greeting and checking-in consumers or other visitors of the agency.
- Collecting client co-pays and balances
- Check out and schedule consumers for future appointments.
- Follow up on lab orders
- Prior authorizations
- Assist with insurance verification, as needed.
- Client engagement
- Collaborate between departments to enhance cross-departmental efficiency.
- Assist with other administrative duties as needed.
🎓 Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
Experience & Skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting a preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a nonjudgmental, client-centered approach
- Customer Service skills
- Ability to manage crisis and problem solve
- Comfortable with digital tools and basic technology use (phones, computers)
- Computer exposure to EHR systems helpful.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Other Requirements
