🗓 ScheduleFull-time | 37.5 hours/week | Monday–Friday during the school year (10 months)

We provide outpatient and community-based behavioral health services for individuals of all ages. 🧠 About the School-Based Therapist Role 

The School-Based Therapist will collaborate with teachers, school district staff, and parents to deliver tailored support, individual therapy, and group counseling to students in need within the contracted school district.

📝 Responsibilities 

  • Provide school-based individual or group therapy sessions to identified students. 
  • Crisis counseling for students as needed 
  • Make referrals for appropriate supportive services. 
  • Provide professional development and consultation to school staff 
  • Possibility to participate in the Extended School Year program 
  • Maintain all required documentation 

🎓 Qualifications 

Education 

  • Master’s degree from an accredited program in human services, psychology, counseling, education, or related field 
  • Official transcript must reflect completed practicum 

Experience & Skills 

  • Experience working with children and adolescents preferred 
  • Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively 
  • Flexibility and professionalism in a school-based environment 

Other Requirements 

  • Subject to the requirements of the Child Protective Services Law.
