Job Overview:
The School-Based Therapist will collaborate with teachers, school district staff, and parents to deliver tailored support, individual therapy, and group counseling to students in need within the contracted school district.

Schedule:
• Full-time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week during the school year (10 months).
• Potential for additional hours outside the school year.

Responsibilities:
• Provide school-based individual or group therapy sessions to identified students.
• Crisis counseling for students as needed
• Make referrals for appropriate supportive services.
• Provide professional development and consultation to school staff
• Possibility to participate in the Extended School Year program
• Maintain all required documentation
Qualifications and Skills:
• Master’s Degree from an accredited program in human services, sociology, political science, criminal justice, education, or related fields.
• Proof of completed practicum with an official transcript.
• Preferred experience in working with children and adolescents.
• Seeking a proactive, self-motivated candidate capable of autonomous work.

Clearances:

In accordance with state regulations, all prospective new employees/contractors must provide originals to make available for photocopies of their Federal Criminal History Record (DHS FBI Background Check), PA Criminal Background Check, and PA Child Abuse Clearance before commencing the offered position.
