🧠 About the Team Leader Role
Central Behavioral Health is seeking a Master’s-level clinician to join our leadership team as a Supervisor for our Behavioral Health Case Management program. This role is designed for clinicians who are ready to expand their impact beyond individual therapy sessions and into program leadership.The Team Leader supervises and provides operational oversight and support to up to nine staff within the Recovery Support Teams Department across the Norristown and Abington locations and provides direct client support as needed. This position ensures consistent service delivery, staff accountability, staff performance, and and program integrity across sites. The Team Leader is responsible for overseeing team compliance with all applicable State, County, and agency regulations; ensuring performance indicators established by Montgomery County Behavioral Health Services are met; and determining eligibility of referrals for Recovery Coaching services in alignment with program criteria.
This role works closely with the Department Director, other team supervisors, and collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team members to promote coordinated, high-quality care and effective service outcomes.

📝 Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Recovery Coaches, setting clear performance expectations and maintaining accountability standards.
- Conduct systematic review of documentation, service delivery, and productivity to ensure regulatory compliance and program fidelity.
- Complete regular performance evaluations for staff.
- Track and analyze staff Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure benchmarks are met and sustained.
- Provide consistent weekly supervision, drop-in supervision, performance coaching, and corrective guidance as needed.
- Coordinate required clinical supervision to support professional growth and meet program compliance.
- Attend weekly departmental supervisors’ meetings.
- Maintain professional development through required trainings and ongoing education.
- Communicate and work collaboratively with consumers, families, agency staff, and referral sources.
- Ensure effective collaboration with clients, families, internal departments, and external partners including Montgomery County Behavioral Health and Magellan Behavioral Health to ensure coordinated and effective service delivery.
- Support staff in identifying and accessing community resources that assist in meeting client needs.
- Assist in strengthening referral relationships and maintaining community partnerships.
- Contribute to departmental and agency-wide initiatives as needed.
🎓 Qualifications
Education
A Team Leader will have::
- A Master’s degree in social work, psychology, rehabilitation, activity therapies, counseling or education.
Experience & Skills
- 3 years mental health direct care experience.
- Prior supervisory experience a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a nonjudgmental, client-centered approach
- Comfortable with digital tools and basic technology use (tablets, phones, computers etc.)
- Computer exposure to EHR systems is helpful.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Other Requirements
- Valid Driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Subject to the requirements of the Child Protective Services Law.
